Go behind the finished product and meet the person who made it.

Depending on location, your visit may introduce you to traditional wood carving, lacquerwork, handloom weaving, batik, pottery, mask making or another local craft. Hear the stories behind the skill, watch the artisan at work and understand how knowledge is passed from one generation to another.

These visits can also be an opportunity to purchase directly from the maker, where available.
