Terms & conditions
These terms govern use of the D Ceylon Collection website and travel services arranged by D Ceylon Collection (Pvt) Ltd. A quotation, confirmation, invoice, supplier condition or separate written agreement may also form part of your contract and will prevail where expressly stated.
Enquiries, quotations and bookings
An enquiry or quotation is not a confirmed booking. Arrangements remain subject to availability, supplier confirmation and the stated deposit or payment. A booking is confirmed only when we issue written confirmation and receive any required payment. The person making the booking must have authority to act for all travellers and ensure their details are accurate.
Prices, payment and changes
Prices may be affected by season, taxes, exchange rates, availability and supplier changes until confirmation. Payment schedules and cancellation conditions will be stated in your quotation or confirmation. Changes requested after confirmation may carry supplier charges, price differences or loss of non-refundable services.
Suppliers and changing conditions
We may provide services directly or arrange them through independent hotels, transport operators, guides and other suppliers. Their own conditions and safety procedures may apply. Weather, wildlife, conservation rules, government action, transport disruption and other events beyond reasonable control can require a service or itinerary to be changed, postponed or cancelled.
Traveller responsibilities
Travellers are responsible for valid passports, visas, insurance and health requirements; arriving on time; disclosing relevant mobility, dietary or medical needs; following safety instructions and local laws; and treating communities, staff, wildlife and places respectfully. Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.
